Types of Physical Therapy Services We Offer

Whether you need therapy for a chronic health condition or post-injury care, we offer a comprehensive array of rehabilitation services:

Vestibular Rehabilitation

This type of rehab therapy is centered around exercises dealing with balance issues and similar conditions. Offered at all our locations, vestibular rehabilitation targets common diagnoses such as:

  • BPPV
  • Vertigo
  • Vestibular hypofunction
  • Peripheral or central disorders
  • General imbalance
  • Cervicogenic dizziness

Dry Needling (Intramuscular Therapy)

Available at all locations, dry needling is a specialized therapeutic intervention that addresses myofascial trigger points responsible for pain and discomfort. This treatment enhances muscle flexibility and reduces pain symptoms.

Aquatic Physical Therapy

Aquatic physical therapy offers personalized, one-on-one treatment utilizing the therapeutic properties of water. This approach creates a safe and supportive environment, relieving joint and tissue pressure while facilitating increased range of motion, strength, flexibility, and endurance. Aquatic physical therapy is accessible at all locations.

Occupational Therapy

Delivered at our Raleigh and Wakefield locations, these physical therapy services are used to evaluate and treat patients to help them master essential skills for independent living, including cooking, writing, shopping, and dressing. Our therapists also specialize in hand rehabilitation, post-surgical and stroke rehabilitation, adaptive equipment assessments, energy conservation techniques, and ergonomic assessments.

Speech Therapy

Offered at all our locations, we utilize speech-language pathology to assess and treat adult patients dealing with swallowing disorders, cognitive challenges, speech and language impairments, and voice disorders. We also provide specialized services such as Modified Barium Swallow Studies (MBS), Fiberoptic Endoscopic Evaluation of Swallowing (FEES), LSVT Loud for Parkinson’s patients, Respiratory Muscle Training (RMT), evaluation and treatment for head/neck cancer patients, and a Post-stroke/Aphasia therapy program, including a Primary Progressive Aphasia program.
